Ladies of Kent,
It may interest you that there will be the opportunity to attend 3 skills days in April which my team, Iceni are running, to give women in ultimate an opportunity to really improve and also to fund us a little bit for our trip to the World Championships.
These days are going to be run by our team, many of whom are GB players. Each skills day will have a specific theme and you can pick and choose which ones you want to go to or go to all 3. I will be helping out on these days so am very happy to chaperone any shy players who want to get better.

Definitely interested.
Although, ability to actually go depends on what the outcome of the last GB trial is...
...So yeah I'll probably come along, always good to learn from the best! |

So here are the details for what hte days will be about...
April 11th - Running, jumping and catching
April 25th - Throwing, Man- D and Cutting
May 9th - Game skills
£4 per session or £10 in advance for all 3.
Please let me know if you're interested, this really is an awesome opportunity to get better!

Hey peoples.
I hate to jump in on Kate's post here but this message seems most appropriate here!
The Kent Mixed team has proven to be really popular again this season - we've got a lot of returning players who want to play with us again and about 9 ladies on the books already - with such a large team of players to choose from and so few spaces for boys or girls it's always tricky getting many people out on Mixed Tour - we've already got too many experienced players this season. But we're not prepared to risk running a second team this season as we're well aware of the drop out factor as Mixed Tour passes through the middle of Exam and Revision season.
However, our friend Mara (of Iceni fame) is looking for some more ladies (or couples, or probably guys too if you're really keen or want to go in a group) to play Mixed tour with. ABH are a nice bunch of people, and Mara is lovely - she bakes too, which is a massive team bonus! Mixed is a great introduction to the Tour season if anyone fancies it, and if you're coming from Kent we can all share rides. If any of our student friends wants to play some Mixed this is a really good option. I'm just sorry we can't take more with Kent. Unless of course KTT want to enter their own Mixed team at Mixed Tour 2 (you've missed the deadline for MT1)? Anyway, ABH is worth a thought - be bold! Playing out of your comfort zone with new people is a great way to build on-pitch confidence! And Mixed Tour is always Major LOLs

Hey Ladies,
I am afraid I'm going to have to push you on whether you're interested in these sessions or not. If I don't hear anything by this time next week then I'll assume that it's a no. Obviously they are open for you to go along by yourselves if you fancy it, but if you get in touch with me before next wednesday I will have an opportunity to help you sort out how to get there and where to go etc.
