So a recruitment drive is what we are looking for on this day. It seems the plan will have at most 5 people on the stall (wherever that maybe) and EVERY OTHER MEMBER OF THE CLUB having visible chuck abouts on campus. We want another influx of massive numbers that we got last year so we need everyone back to recruit. We have tickets for paintballing which we may use this week so if people get back for that. we can shoot each other.

Elections happened this Wednesday (1st) and the results are as follows
Women’s Captain (Irish) / Captain (Mash) / Secretary (Tull) / Social Secretary (Hooch) / Treasurer (Butters) / President (Big Love)
As well as the elections, the club is now discussing whether there should be a first team only training on a saturday morning (starting from september) Please leave your thoughts on the forum. This will effect the whole club!

Its Disc Doctors Anniversary and they are inviting their favourite teams to go celebrate.
The main event will be a wee 8-team tournament with all sorts of extra goodies scattered throughout the day, including a killer mack line, some Double Disc Court and an exhibition match between the current crop of discDoctors and their alumni. There will also be a barbecue, a bar and a party afterwards

The Reading Dragons are hosting their very first tournament “Wingin’ It” on 2nd/3rd of May. It is an open, outdoor tournament for both uni and non-uni teams. The tournament will be on the University Of Reading sport fields, shower and changing facilities will be available for use by all. There will be party in the student union on Saturday night.

Mash, Big Love, Kat, Hooch and Timmy collaborated with Essex Disc Devils this weekend to make the ultimate team of Sex Touch. Finished 10th out of 20, winning 6 and losing 2. Point difference was about 20 points in our favour showing our Offence is awesome and our Defence is awesomer!? Whole write up from the weekend is posted in the forum, read if you are interested.

This saturday was the greatest saturday of the term, Hammertime. Starting earlier than the previous one (to get some more ultimate in) players were split into 4 teams. Every team played each other with some amazing ultimate taking place. At the same time of some truly competitive ultimate, there was a fantasy competition taking place. Points were given for flair, assist points, scoring a point, d’s or layouts. The final was held between team 3 and team 4 with t3 taking a comprehensive victory. Winner of fantasy going to Timmy (47 points) with Whippet (34) and Pete B (33) in 2nd and 3rd.
Unfortunately due to crap weather and the god’s of ultimate playing in heaven, the weather was too bad for the outdoor session. However, to make up for this, the party was especially good at Westerly with beer pong and wii tennis all night. Notable congratulations go to Irish who was passed out in bed by 11.
Summer term will see the return of summer five side aside, togas / super heroes and lady boys are all to be expected.
