Following successful qualification last month, Kent Touch This sent a team to its first Mixed Indoor Nationals last weekend in Wolverhampton. We came sixteenth in division two; the club’s best ever result in Mixed Ultimate. Kent previously qualified for Mixed Indoor Nationals in the 2009-10 season, but were unable to attend as the tournament was held in Scotland.

On 26-27 November, Kent Touch This competed in Open Indoor Nationals in Hatfield. After earning qualification for the second time in the club’s history last month, Kent 1 went on to record our club’s highest ever finish, coming eighth in Division 2, 24th overall in the United Kingdom. Kent last qualified for Nationals in 2009, on that occasion coming 14th in the second division.
Congratulations to Vid, Cleary, Andy, Backstreet, Clark, Dan, Hayd, Hooch, Scarfe and Shamo on their performance, and also to Sean, who was with Kent 1 for the qualification campaign, but was unable to play at Nationals himself.
The same weekend, a team consisting of freshers, experienced players and alumni competed in the Spectator Sport tournament, being run in parallel with Division 2 Nationals, and came 13th winning the Bowl.
